Round 2 surveys are now available, have your say and help prioritize our Big Biodiversity questions.

 The questions have been sorted into four themes -Engage People, Reduce Threats, Enhance Resilience and Improve Knowledge – which align with Ontario’s Biodiversity Strategy, 2011. Round 2 requires participants to prioritize questions.

The first round of the eDelphi will utilize an online survey to gather information about important biodiversity questions from a wide range of individuals involved in biodiversity conservation in Ontario. This may include biodiversity conservation practitioners, policy-makers, academics, etc.

  • Encourage colleagues to complete survey

Timing

The second round of the eDelphi will utilize the questions gathered in the first round of responses and may ask for clarification, level of agreement or request that respondents rank or prioritize items that were submitted in the previous round.

The third and final round of the eDelphi will take place at the Ontario Biodiversity Summit in Niagara Falls. Facilitators will utilize a ‘think tank’ format and employ a consensus based approach to confirm and prioritize the list of questions.

Timing

The result of the BBQ project will be a report that will provide a generalized summary of the methodology and publish a list of the most important and impactful biodiversity questions.
